Garmin's just unleashed two new lines of GPS units, the nüvi1200 and 1300 models. Both lines are capable of pedestrian navigation - making use of CityXplorer maps, which is totally awesome if you use the GPS to get you where you're going, then get lost as soon as you set foot outside your vehicle. The new, super-slim nüvis come in 3.5-inch (1200) and 4.5-inch (1300) variations, and some models in the lines will offer features such as Bluetooth and text-to-speech, and all of them feature Garmin's free lifetime traffic service.
With ultra-thin form, easily you can bring it to where ever you go on car or foot. Just put nuvi 1200 on your hand, then put the destination. Nuvi 1200 will guide you to right direction turn-by-turn complete with the name of the street. When you use car, the EcoRoute guides you and calculates the most fuel-efficient route, so you can save your fuel.
Nuvi 1200 features a 3.5-inch QVGA color antiglare TFT with white backlight, 320×240 pixel resolution, Where am I? as emergency locator, City Navigatator NT street maps, world travel clock with time zone, currency converter, measurement converter, calculator and more. You don’t even to worry about being lose your nuvi 1200 because it also equips anti-theft feature, Garmin Lock, alert with special sound that you can download.

nüvi 1250's intuitive interface greets you with two simple questions: "Where To?" and "View Map." Touch the color screen to easily look up addresses and services and get voice-prompted, turn-by-turn directions that speak street names to your destination. It comes preloaded with detailed City Navigator® NT street maps for continental U.S., Hawaii, and Puerto Rico or one European region or country, million of points of interest (POIs), 2-D or 3-D maps. Its digital elevation maps show you shaded contours at higher zoom levels, giving you a big picture of the surrounding terrain. With the 1250's enhanced user interface, you can slide your finger to conveniently scroll between screens. You can also upload custom points of interest (POIs). And with HotFix™ satellite prediction, nüvi calculates your position faster to get you there quicker.
Navigation is just the beginning. nüvi 1200 saves you gas and money with ecoRoute — a green feature that calculates the most fuel-efficient route, tracks fuel usage and more. The 1200 includes many travel tools including JPEG picture viewer, world travel clock with time zones, currency converter, measurement converter, calculator and more. With photo navigation, you can download pictures from Garmin Connect™ Photos and navigate to them. It's also compatible with lifetime traffic alerts or MSN® Direct (receiver purchase required for either option). With its "Where Am I?" emergency locator, you always know your location. Simply tap the screen to get your exact latitude and longitude coordinates, the nearest address and intersection, and the closest hospitals, police stations and fuel stations. The 1200 features Garmin Lock™, an anti-theft feature, and is compatible with our free Garmin Garage where you can download custom custom voices and vehicles.
