Garmin eTrex Legend Adventure Pack
Pack more detail into your adventure with the eTrex Legend Cx. This popular handheld navigator has a bright color screen and microSD™ card for expandable memory, and it can route you on roads or off, for wherever your travels take you.
The brightly-colored eTrex Legend combines all of the intuitive, user-friendly features of the eTrex series with a full basemap of the Americas, the Atlantic or the Pacific and 8 megabytes (MB) of internal memory for storing optional maps. The Legend can receive position corrections from the Wide Area Augmentation System (WAAS), which makes Legend's already-accurate positioning data even more reliable. In fact, when you turn on WAAS, you can increase the accuracy of Legend's position reporting to within three meters.
Storing data is easier than ever with Legend Cx's included 64 megabyte (MB) microSD card. Just connect to your computer and load optional MapSource® software to view detailed maps of your surroundings. The card slot is located inside the waterproof battery compartment, so you don't have to worry about getting it wet. You can also use optional preloaded microSD cards with MapSource data for your land and sea excursions. Just insert a MapSource card with detailed street maps, and Legend Cx provides turn-by-turn directions to your destination.
Like the rest of the eTrex series, the rugged Legend Cx is WAAS-compatible and waterproof, so it can withstand the elements or an accidental dunk in water. The Legend's basemap contains lakes, rivers, cities, interstates, national and state highways, railroads and coastlines. Legend also comes preloaded with marine navigation aids. And, with Legend's 8 MB of memory, you can add even more map detail with data from Garmin's entire line of MapSource mapping products.
